Because all measuring instruments have measuring tolerances after an unspecified time - and these should be minimised as far as possible - we recommend you to have your instruments inspected once a year. Long-term stability can thus be significantly improved.
As even devices of the same series and from the same manufacturer can show different results, we recommend that you always use the same measuring instruments, which you have also regularly calibrated.
Comparative measurement values can only be achieved, if the measuring geometry, the measuring process (tristimulus or spectral) and the CIE Standard Observer function are in agreement.
