Every measuring device produces certain measurement tolerances based on periods of use that are not always clearly defined. These can lead to printing machines being sub-optimally adjusted and thus to quality losses in your print products. Measurement tolerances should therefore be minimised as far as possible.
Our recommendation: Always use the same measuring machines when taking your measurements. Have your measuring instruments inspected, and calibrated if necessary, once a year. This can significantly improve the stability and reliability of your readings.
